Dozens of Serbian women are married to some of the world's wealthiest men, spanning all continents and all ethnicities, says Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti.

The daily goes on to list some of the Serbian women who have married wealthy men, not hiding the fact that huge amounts of money, diamonds, vast real estate and businesses played a major if not the only role in the marriages.

Former Miss Serbia Jelena Jakovljevic married one of the wealthiest sheiks in UAE, Said bin Drai who is said to be worth $6 Billion. Drai's family business includes "Bin Drai Enterprise", a company who imports steel and construction equipment as well as the building and selling real estate. Jelena Jakovljevic has already managed to have a luxury hotel in her name "Park Place" as well as a chain of fashion stores in the UAE.

Another Belgrade native Sandra Nikolic married wealthy Russian banker Andrej Melnichenko whose wealth according to Forbes is listed at $6.2 Billion. Nikolic's wedding to Melnichenko was said to have cost 35 million dollars. Sandra according to the Belgrade media was smarter than her friends because she spent every penny she had (20,000 euros) to buy a watch for Melnichenko who in turn was convinced that she is the one. Very soon afterwards Melnichenko proposed to her.

Another Serbian lady Ivana Berendika married the much older Thomas Jermoluk, one of Google's famous investors. Ivana today lives with Jermoluk in Miami in a $7 million house. If you call Ivana, she will answer her $500,000 diamond encrusted cell phone.

Ivana Bozilov is married to millionaire Andrew Fireston, the nephew of the founder of the Firestone Tire company. Ivana is born in Belgrade, but lived in Chicago most of her life where she modeled.

Suzana Drobnjakovic few years ago married Sophia Loren's son, Eduardo Ponti. The wedding was in Geneva. Suzana has been in few movies since then, including "Mission Impossible 3".
