
In late July 2011. year, the Bosnian giant coffee pot from Vispak attain eight years since breaking the Guinness record and entering the most popular book of world wonders, the Guinness Book of Records.
The principle of making coffee in a giant coffee pot is the same as with those of normal size, except that the amount of coffee and water is much larger. Therefore, for the giant coffee pot are needed about 68 kg of coffee, 650 liters of water, of which about 8.000 cups of this irresistible drink is received.
The company Vispak which owns giant coffee pot says that a full pot of coffee has been made twice so far because it is difficult to drink such a large amount of coffee.
A little more than seven years ago, thanks to hard-working hands of the Sarajevo craftsmen Nasir Jabučar and his assistant, the coffee pot had its first promotion in Mostar during jumps from the Old Bridge when 650 liters of coffee were made. The coffee was drunk entirely, and thanks to Jabučar, citizens and Vispak, BiH entered the Guinness Book of Records for the highest number of drunk cups of coffee from the giant coffee pot.
Since then, the coffee pot has visited more than 200 cities across the country, regions and the world. Bosnian coffee was drank by Croats, Montenegrins, Austrians, Chinese... So far about 6.000 kg of the coffee brand Golden Pot has been used, from which 60.000 liters of coffee have been made, which were tasted by more than half a million people.
